Introduction.
The Umpiluzi
Fire Protection Association (UFPA) was registered on 18 October 2004 after Ben Potgieter a forester had spend a
lot of energy with the application and to educate all members that the FPA will benefit all, and to help reduce
the risk of wild fires turning into disaster fires.
Mission.
The mission
of UFPA is to create a fire awareness and alertness within its boundaries, and to set standards for all members
to reduce the occurrence of wild fires and secondly to ensure that every land owner are equipped and well trained
to fight any wild fire in his area. It is also our aim to have a united force of members to combat wild fires. |
